The research showed these foods have some of the strongest links to cancer prevention. They were low in calories and fat and packed with powerful phytochemicals and antioxidants that may help reduce cancer risk.

Fruits and Vegetables

Antioxidants such as vitamin C, lycopene and beta-carotene are found in many fruits and vegetables. Studies suggest people whose diets are rich in fruits and vegetables have a lower risk of cancer.

Fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, seeds, nuts, beans and legumes protect you by binding up and escorting out chemicals and hormones that promote cancer.
